Katya Quinn, A-B student signs up for the reading buddies program which distributes student tutors to other students that need help with school so that she can gain community service hours for college. Aaron Moore, fortunate in looks but lacking in brains, is forced to sign up on the receiving end as he is at risk of not graduating and needs a little extra help. "Dude, can we just go to the easier book?" Aaron whispers in a low voice, his breath barely blowing the hair closest to Kats ear. "This is the easier book! is everyone in the reading buddies program this stupid?" Kat grumbles, her fingernails dig into her palms as her eyes widen in pure disbelief. "Hey, Mrs Myriad sent YOU here to help ME, so make good of it or I'm snitching hard," he responds, knowing she'd have no other choice but to help. "Ugh fine." She replies rolling her eyes, defeated.
