Millie Lou is the governor's daughter who has more brains than boobs, despite the typical stereotype. Staying at her father's mansion for the summer, she's already bored, looking for adventures. That's where she meets Carter Lee. Carter Lee is half Chinese, half American so he has to deal with the insults and stereotypes all of his life. He's Millie's father's assistant. So when he meets Millie swimming in the pool, they obviously get off on the wrong foot. And fast. But soon, they can't stay mad at each other forever and become close friends with Millie learning a little bit of Chinese and Carter learning interesting stuff about her. After an almost kiss, can Carter and Millie stay distant between each other forever or will they give into their feelings?
