Hiccup Haddock the Third was an outcast from his own village, even to his father. When he met Toothless, he felt something he has lost long ago. The belonging of a family. He never thought he could leave Berk. However, when he was chosen to kill the Monstrous Nightmare, his own fears were overcome by something else. The feelings to protect his own. He never thought of coming back. But fate had other plans.

What if the dragons decided to stay at New Berk with the Berkians? Hiccup works to lead the people of Berk and at the same time continue to care for the dragons. The trialing times for Berk seemed to have finally passed. But the arrival of an old friend, and the mysterious disappearances of dragons around New Berk, threatens the peace of New Berk. And brings Hiccup and all he cares about closer to danger once again. Set directly after the events of "How to train your dragon: the Hidden World". WARNING:Possible spoilers! Includes references and characters from Race to the edge, references to defender/riders of Berk, as well as all the main story of the movies. I don't own any of the characters, aside from any OCs I add. The characters and world belong to and are from 'How to train your dragon'. Mistreated and malnourished, little Hiccup doesn't understand why most everyone on Berk hates him. Gobber notices the abuse and steps in, but things quickly spiral out of control and the only way to keep Hiccup safe is to smuggle him off of Berk and into the hands of their allies. Hiccup is soon adopted into another tribe and grows up discovering what having a true family is like, but the past never stays in the past, as he soon discovers when Berk reaches out to the famed Dragon Master for help. Will he help the tribe who wronged him or leave them to suffer? Only time will tell. And, per usual, I don't own HTTYD or its characters.

Night Rider - A httyd and Hiccstrid book. -Astrid's pov- 8 years. That's how long it has been. 8 lonely, cold, devastating years of my life that I will never get back. Every night I dream the same dream - every night the same day returns to haunt me over and over. That day dramatically changed my life for the worst. Why did that day happen? Everyone learnt to leave me in peace in the morning. Everyone knew my deepest, darkest secret that changed people's opinions of me forever. Everyone knew my arch enemy, but only 2 people know why he is my arch enemy. My friends still talk to me, just not in the same way as they used to - it's almost as if they are scared of me, or don't want to be associated with me. One day I want this to change. One day I want my life to turn around. One day I will truely be me again. One day I will be happy. One day I will be free. I cannot see that day in the forseeable future, but I know it will come, and I know somehow it is connected to my enemy. *I know that it is an over-used story line but I tried to spice it up a little. Kinda like how you may always eat a Chicken Masala and then you try a Vindaloo - they're both food and both curries but one is different from the other* There are extra chapters at the end containing side-stories of this book. It will make more sense when you read the chapter titled: 'The little boat' near the end of the book, but the actual story is 60 chapters long.

Hiccup had enough from everything in his life . getting ignored, bad mouthed and bullied just because he was different from everyone in his tribe. So without any good reasons to stay any longer ,he banished himself with his only friend he ever got from his tribe , even from his father. After everything he went through and all the miserable things he suffered, He doesn't want anything from them anymore... But fate has something different for Hiccup. Having everything he ever wanted, the acceptance for being himself , the better treatment and the love from somewhere after his 14 mistreatment years, got ruined by some people he never wanted to see for almost 8 years after banishing himself and toothless his dragon..... what will Hiccup do ? Will it bring something unexpected to Hiccup? Hi guys this is my first HTTYD fan fic on my new account! A strange man in a strange armour turn up on the shores of Berk. Not looking like a Viking, the inhabitants of Berk are curious of this man dressed in a black armour with a fire sword. This man is outraged at what he sees on Berk, when the sea trader arrives at Berk the man takes a chance. Now missing the dragons attack once again. And among them is the Dragon Boy. Can the Dragon Boy change the minds of Berkians, or will he be forever banished for his ideas?
