❄ Noelle Tucker was always dismissive of 87.3's weather reports. So when the radio station is spot-on for a change, it comes as big news to Elle, especially when she's trapped in her building for the next couple of weeks. Flitting between floors for her job and her home, Elle quickly makes friends with the others trapped inside her building by the violent snowstorm terrorizing urban Chicago. The radio DJ isn't too surprised upon meeting all five members of the rich and famous boy band One Direction (it sort of comes with the job). After all, not much fazes Elle Tucker. But when you throw in a clingy, over-obsessive girlfriend, a couple of pints of eggnog, and fifty-six inches of snow, you've got Elle Tucker skating on thin ice.

Five young lads... and one even younger little girl? AJ Burrows is seven years old and crying in a fitting room. One Direction are on their way to an event in need of a coat. They say that it's kind of a funny story, that it all started with a little shop full of brown leather jackets and a women's fitting room. She says it's a very funny story, and that it all started with a monkey and a ripped skirt... but it doesn't matter where each of their stories start, so long as they'll end together, right? "Seven years old and she's already going to be scarred for life. Nice going, lads."

With a lump in my throat, I looked down to place the sticker with my number on my shirt. When I looked back up, I took in the scene before me and nervously gulped. The waiting area was filled to the brim. There were literally no seats left, and so I backed into a corner, leaned my back against the wall and slumped down to the ground. I didn't quite know what to do with myself so I began fidgeting and playing with my thumbs. When I looked back up, I noticed someone staring at me, or rather, at the bottom of my shoe. I raised my eyebrow questioningly, and he began walking towards me. --- When Andrea Flynn first auditioned for The X Factor, she insisted on going alone. In any case, that's the way it's always been, just her and her old guitar. She found comfort in being by herself, and alone was her favorite thing to be. Little did she know, auditioning for Britain's top talent television show would mean that she would never be alone again, but maybe, just maybe, it wasn't such a bad thing after all. And when asked who she had to thank for her new life, she replied “her boots,” because they brought her to the audition, and most importantly, they brought her to Liam. Getting through didn't change her life. He did.

"It's been seven years, Niall. I thought...you'd forget about me." When Allie Hunter's mother died of cancer, her life was torn apart as her formerly close-knit family was uprooted from their homestead in Mullingar, Ireland and replanted in Venice Beach, California. Allie was terrified of leaving behind her home, the family she used to know, the house that connected her to her deceased mother, and her best friend; a small, brown-haired boy named Niall Horan who lived across the street. Seven years later, Allie's move has changed her life, and it's changed Niall's, too: he's a household name now, thanks to his world-famous boyband, and his hair is blonde, but his eyes are still the same icy blue that reminds Allie of home. Meeting Niall again by chance wasn't something had Allie accounted for, but after traveling across Europe with a group of wild British boys, re-visiting her past & finding the mother she never had, Allie realizes that it was something that she wouldn't trade for anything. After all, he's the one who found her.
