This isn't a story of unique powers or pivotal decisions made by the original characters. No, rather, nothing would have changed if it weren't for them.
Nakahara Chuuya and Dazai Osamu.
Had it not been for those figures who had somehow merged with their minds on that day five years ago, they wouldn't be living this way. Sasuke and Naruto still had yet to figure out who exactly were the men who had shaped them into people who could stare at life straight in the face and welcome all of its trials with open arms, but to them, it hardly mattered.
They were far from invulnerable; their mentors still let life teach them. Now, they were twelve, the age everything they knew morphed into something different and gave them a taste of what real life was like.
It was a tale of two boys who supported each other, using two men from another world as pillars, walking the path of the original story and unknowingly changing the outcome.
However, they weren't the only ones.
