I pound my fists against my temples, and sink deeper beneath the covers on my bed. I feel hot tears start to fall down my cheeks. Why won't they stop? He smiled widely, all teeth showing, and I now felt sudden joy. My dad deserved this. "Wow, that's great dad! When do you start?" I asked. "See, that's the thing. I start in two days. But..
