This is a sequel to my original Lucafic, "Only Time Will Tell." I highly recommend you go read that one before reading this story, but it's completely up to you :). It takes place a year after the end of the movie, when the underdogs are leaving for school again. A crazed doctor is obsessed with capturing sea monsters and doing horrendous experiments on them, not resting until he gets what he wants.
