Struggling to be the single father of Eren, Levi decided to go into these playdates for his toddler child. While his son was off playing, a mother came by with her own child. Right off the bat, Eren and the mother's child were playing together- almost like they were made for each other. That's when the mother, Hanji, began to increase their meetups for the two kids to meet up. Perhaps it was also for another reason.

After waking up from dying in his sleep, Levi questions what he should do with his life. On top of that, he's gained an unwanted friend: Dr. Hanji Zoe, who was present when he woke up. Everything points back to him rejoining the Survey Corps, but he can't deal with the PTSD attacks alone, so Hanji comes along. It doesn't take Levi long to realize that he needs Hanji as more than just a doctor, but Erwin thinks differently, and will do whatever it takes to make Levi the soldier he used to be...
