What originally started out as a solo venture becomes something that she never would have expected. James Buchanan Barnes is back in her life, and neither of them knows what to do about it. Slowly, they make their way back to each other. But what happens when Natasha's unrevealed past, before she even met James, comes back to haunt her and those she cares about? This is a story about Buckynat, so don't worry, we'll always come back to that. But every chapter adds more. Black Widow movie spoilers become prominent in Chapter 15. I've always felt that there was something we weren't being told by the MCU in regards to the Buckynat relationship, so I decided to write what I thought was going through their minds during Civil War with a bit of a twist in the storylines as Bucky begins to remember Natasha and Nat tries to put the romance behind her when she believes all hope is lost. All characters and original storylines belong to Marvel and the MCU. I'm just altering them a bit to bring the Buckynat relationship ideas that I've had to life. After the Civil War chapters, there is a new storyline for Bucky and Natasha, so it won't be in accordance with the MCU events. Also, the picture I have as my cover was found on Google, so credit goes to whoever made that. I absolutely love it. :)
