"Why do you care?" he asks. But it's not soft. It's sharp, defensive, like he's already bracing for the answer. I want to tell him the truth. Because you saved me. Because you're the only one who makes me feel real. Because if you fall apart, I don't know what happens to the rest of us. Instead, I just say, "Maybe I want to understand." He scoffs, no humor in it. "You don't. Trust me." Silence stretches between us. Then he steps forward, close enough that I can see the way his hands won't stop shaking. "You already know too much," he says, voice low. "More than you ever should've." I don't look away. "Then tell me the rest." He shakes his head. "It's not your place. You don't get to ask." "But I am asking." He exhales sharply. "Jesus, Lily. This isn't a story with a clean ending. I'm not a mystery. I'm a goddamn warning sign. I'm dangerous." I flinch, but I don't move. And that pisses him off more. He takes a step back like he's going to leave, then pauses. His eyes flick to my jacket. In one quick motion, he reaches in and pulls out the burner phone. "I think this belongs to me," he says, tone sharp but quiet. No accusation. Just fact. I don't respond. Just watch as he slips it into his pocket, like closing a door I wasn't supposed to open. He looks at me for one long second, jaw clenched. "Go home," he says again, this time like a warning. And this time, I believe him. He crushes the cigarette under his boot, turns his back, and walks down the alley, leaving me standing in the dark. - Lily didn't ask to be assigned to him. Harry Styles is a name whispered like a warning, famous for his ink, infamous for everything else. Brooding. Untouchable. But Lily has a habit of looking too closely. And when she finds something she shouldn't, the line between curiosity and consequence begins to blur. He told her to stay away. She should've listened. - TW: emotional abuse, manipulation, drugs, sex, violence, trauma.

Eliana Olsson lived a life woven with complexity, her morals firm, and her character forged through trials that shaped her deeply. She believed she understood her world - or at least knew how to navigate it. Then he arrived, his presence like a candle flickering in a still room, casting shadows that stretched and twisted her certainties. He was a riddle, born to test and unravel the foundations of everything she knew and trusted. He carried himself like a fleeting shadow of hesitation, the embodiment of unanswered questions. A conundrum is more than a simple puzzle; it's a delicate interplay between curiosity and uncertainty - a question that defies answers or offers far too many. Eliana soon realized he might destroy everything she had been or free her to become something entirely new. Can life really be more complicated than it already is? . . . . . . . . . She moves to a new city with her family, leaving behind the shadows of a troubled past in search of something better. Together with her mother and younger sister, she strives to piece together a life that feels stable and secure-something they've never truly known. As she focuses on her studies and the pursuit of her dreams, the weight of untold stories and unresolved memories lingers in the background, waiting for the right moment to resurface. Her plan is to keep moving forward, but life and one curly haired boy seem to have their own...ideas. I met him on the wrong side of midnight. London was supposed to be my chance to outrun the past, to bury the ghosts. But I've learned that ghosts don't stay buried, and neither do secrets. Now, I'm caught in a dangerous game. And danger isn't something you escape. It catches you. ---- "And right now, I bet it's eating you alive," he murmurs. "Trying to figure out if I'm your executioner or your guardian angel." I swallow hard. "What do you want from me?" "Now that," he leans in just enough to make my pulse jump, "is the right question." -- Harry is widely known as one of the most feared underground fighters London has ever seen. Olivia runs to London to escape the ghosts of her past and reinvent herself. But what happens when a cruel twist of fate brings them together? ** contains violence, drug use, mental health issues, grief, sexual content, strong language.

Red lights bleed through the air thick with narcotics, while cigarette smoke consumes my lungs like a death wish. He leans in, his voice a dark whisper against my lips. "Do you like the taste of something so dark?" My throat goes dry like bones, as I summon the courage to speak along the lines of something so vile. "Guess I do." He chuckles, tilting my chin up with the tip of his finger. "Oh yeah?" he murmurs, his lips a breath away from mine. "Wanna be a little devil tonight?" // Harry Styles is a trained killer working for one of the most dangerous gangs in the country. His work is flawless, precise, silent, and merciless. He leaves no evidence, no hesitation, and absolutely no room for error. He's dedicated, disciplined, and untouchable - until he meets her. Ruby is the very essence of innocence. A girl with a heart that flutters and a soul that shines like summer daisies. Sweet as a dove, delicate as light. But innocence doesn't mean ignorance, and curiosity can be a fatal thing. Especially when it draws her into the arms of a man who moves like sin and smiles like salvation. They met in the woods, but it was under flickering neon lights and the hum of danger that they truly collided. Ruby doesn't know what Harry is. Not at first. Not when his hands are on her skin, not when her lips are tangled with his, not when her body is learning his like a secret language. She falls into him recklessly, blind to the blood on his hands. But when she uncovers the truth, and the blood he leaves behind, it's already too late. She's seen too much. She knows too much. And in their world, that kind of knowledge comes with only two options: join them or disappear. Forever. The world isn't just dark. It's vile. /// *Story Contains Mature and Explicit Content, read at your own discretion*

MALEFACTOR (n): one who commits an offense against the law. Camden Muñoz has one self-proclaimed fatal flaw: the moment she gets an idea in her head, she has to follow through with it. Against her better judgment, she's always stuck by this notion. But when these thoughts lead to her committing what she imagined would be a one-and-done robbery, she finds herself at the mercy of a dangerous man in an impossible situation. // Time, I've learned, is a very finicky thing. Sometimes, seconds feel like minutes while minutes can feel like seconds. Time as a construct makes no comprehensible sense at certain points, the intangibility of it all making your existence as a human seem baffling to understand. As I blink, I become aware of the gun in my outstretched hand pointing directly at the head of the man standing behind the register in the liquor store. I'm not sure how I got inside or when. One second I was standing outside with Harry, my feet hitting the sidewalk as I emerged from the alley, and the next, I'm here. Playing God in a moment that no mortal being should ever be able to do. "Open the register or I'll blow your fucking brains out." The same words that Harry spit at me almost a week ago come flying back out. He's standing beside me, an inch back with his own gun out and cocked at the man. A rush of adrenaline surges through me, my lips curling upward momentarily as the words finish leaving. Power. That's what I feel at this moment. // MATURE CONTENT 18+

"Who's that over there?" The man looked at me like I was from outer space, or perhaps like I lived under a rock, maybe a mixture of both. "Him? They call him Full Throttle," he chuckled with a hint of nervousness in his voice. I scrunched my nose up in confusion. "Why?" The man threw his head back and laughed before answering me. "Because he doesn't hold back. He does everything at full speed... racing, girls, and-" the man cut himself off, seeking as though he was catching himself spilling a secret. "And what?" "Don't worry about it." THIS BOOK IS PURELY A WORK OF FICTION! The characters in it are in NO way a representation of the people chosen to play them.
