The world has always been in black and white for Hope Mikaelson. There was good and bad. She was either good or bad, and she had always done her best to be good. Otherwise, what was the use of all that her family had gone through to protect her. Her mother, father, and uncle had nearly died for her and she needed to live up to that. When she accidentally summons a demon, bound to her service, she knows that demons are bad. Lizzie, however; is all blue eyes, blunt words, and brilliant smiles. How can she be all bad? Lizzie lives in the shades of grey. She has no qualms about protecting this amazing tribrid girl at all costs, even from the human terrors at school, and the emotional terror that for some reason, no one can see she is in.

Hope is forced into hiring a stranger who later becomes someone she refuses to admit she has developed a crush on. Hope has to keep her feelings on the down low due to the established policy that states co-workers are forbidden to date each other. Hope has to continue reminding herself that it's only platonic between them and nothing could ever happen. That's until she finds out Lizzie has been crushing on her since the very first moment they met.

Lizzie Saltzman is a closeted high school student who lives in a conservative town wit her father, Alaric, and twin sister, Josie. She is very popular and has many friends, but no one but her sister know she's gay. Lizzie doesn't think she'll ever be able to come out to her homophobic father, but then Hope Mikaelson moves into town along with her best friend, Penelope Park, and everything changes for the twins when they quickly befriend the new girls.

Over the summer holidays, some of the students of the Salvatore Boarding School decided to get out to spend time with their loved ones. As well as Hope Mikaelson. She might not have her parents to visit, but she still had a lot of relatives that would love to see her again. But at the end of the holidays Hope changed. Something serious seemed to happen when she wasn't there. No one actually saw it. Except Lizzie. I do NOT own the tvdu or any character of it
