Y/N is childhood best friends with Joe Locke, the two spent all of their time together and were practically joint at the hip. Joe was cast for the role of Charlie spring in the upcoming Heartstopper Netflix series. When they found out that Joe would need to go away from home for a couple months for filming, the two were absolutely devastated at the idea of being separated from one another. After Joe had been gone for a few weeks Y/N became increasingly unhappy without her best friend and was sick of going to school and being around so many people without Joe helping her with her anxiety.
