Book One In the quiet town of Paradise, Lyra has spent her life hiding in plain sight-haunted by dreams that feel like memories, chased by whispers no one else can hear. She tells herself she's ordinary... until the day a stranger walks into her café and everything tilts. Alastor Morningstar is no ordinary man. Son of Lucifer. Heir to the Shadow Realm. Executioner of angels. A creature who vowed never to love-and has never once broken a vow. Until Lyra. Because Lyra isn't merely a girl with gentle smiles and soft laughter. She is the Hollow-born - an omen Heaven wants erased and Hell wants claimed. Angels hunt her. Demons circle her. And in the corners of her dreams, something ancient watches, waiting for her to remember its name. As the realms slide toward war, Alastor is torn between desire and duty, loyalty and damnation. And Lyra must face what she is becoming-power forged of ash and flame, destined either to restore balance... or end creation. Love can be salvation. Love can be ruin. And in a world where vows demand blood, devotion becomes a weapon. Heaven says destroy her. Hell says bind her. He says-mine. Death is ready to visit a new world! Based on the published novel and Wattpad sensation, Death is My BFF is now a webcomic! Experience the story like never before now only on WEBTOON! This is a VERY rough, early draft of "Death is My BFF" and the published version looks very different! :) ****** (2014 WATTY AWARD WINNER!) The legendary Angel of Death has spared Faith Williams' divine soul. However, this merciful act comes at a price. When she turns eighteen, her soul and everything that she is, will belong to him. The problem? Faith's not going to hell without a fight. Death isn't the only creature that has taken notice in her uniqueness. Demons, monsters, one vengeful demi-god, and a notorious playboy are all wrecking havoc on her life. Torn between two worlds, Faith must decide once and for all whom she can trust, and whom she can allow herself to love, before all of hell breaks loose. Even if it means striking another deal with Death. * * * FAQ: HELLO, YOU BEAUTIFUL PERSON! :) You CAN read this story without reading the Original Death series. DEATH IS MY BFF REWRITTEN is a total rewrite of the first draft of "Death is My BFF", which I wrote when I was 14. The ORIGINAL series is on my profile, but it does not line up with this book. Again, the book you are currently on is "Death is My BFF Rewritten," which is part of the Rewritten Death Chronicles, and this book does not line up with the original Death series. Again, the Rewritten Death Chronicles will share similarities to the original series, but should be considered a SEPARATE from the series I wrote when I was 14! Please enjoy!!!!! Xoxo, Katarina E. Ashley Martin has been through more grief than a person experiences in their entire life and carries baggage that no kid should ever entail. Tyler Miller is the school's scandalous bad boy who acts on impulse, blinded rage and will single-handedly destroy anybody who stands in his way. It's a fight-or-flight situation, a reincarnation of her past, a chance for him to right the wrongs he did by her. A second chance is like giving someone an extra bullet for their gun after they missed you the first time round. So here's Tyler's gun. Here's Ashley's heart. And here's to their second chance, however hopeless it may seem.

"This. This is what I've been waiting for my entire life! Laughing so hard right now...<3" -TheMarkOfMadness "I was so shocked when I saw this because no one ever wrote a MakaXStein book before. It was so interesting that I clicked on it instantly and started reading it. And, mein gott, I LOVE IT!" -JohnnyDork "I seriously love this book. I love the way it makes sense and it's not forced." -SpringNorris You've read the reviews, you've seen the read count, but have you actually red this cracky book of crap yourself? Probably not, it you're sane. But Key isn't, so she wrote this book! It's a humorous story of how you should never fall in love with your teacher-or not. Rather, it's about failed relationships, exploring options, being teenagers, and... cosplaying?! Oh well, at least the author isn't that bad...
