Katsuki is struggling with his feelings toward Izuku, trying to figure them out. While doing this, he ends up treating Izuku like shit. Katsuki is obsessed with Izuku, and he doesn't realize it. In his longing for deep connection and forgiveness from the one person he has a real relationship with, he doesn't want to let him go. In their last year of middle school, Katsuki realizes his mistakes and tries to fix things. He becomes vulnerable with Izuku and begs for forgiveness. Izuku's Loved Bakugou since they were kids. Even through the bullying and things he did to him, he loved him. He didn't want to but he did. So, when second year came along, and Uraraka and Bakugou got together, it changed him. It wasn't fair, why did he have to love this jerk? Why did he have to love someone that did nothing but hurt him? After he found out, Izuku changed. He decided he had enough and didn't want to get hurt anymore. He wasn't the cute little cinnamon roll in first year. What happens when one day he just so happens to sing a song he relates to a whole bunch? And in the midst of thinking too much he hadn't realized someone was following him, he did put up a decent fight against the stalker however he was still a middle school boy. Time skip it turns out the famous Mafia the L.O.V had kidnapped him. They did many, many torture methods and tried many different drugs on the blonde causing him to gain an unnatural quirk, mortality. Durring this time he also gained a couple of friends in his head. Eventually Katuski finds away to escape, thus begin his career as a mercenary.
