Humanity is going through changes. Change one made a little less than a third of the population dual sexed (hermephrodites), change two made a virus break out which threatens Gotham and the rest of the world, turning people into flesh eating monsters, and change three is being warily awaited. Bruce Wayne takes in Harley and joker for the finishing of their rehab a few months after change one. Change two complicates things with the three.

Batman and Joker are fighting as usual but, wrapped up in the heat of the moment, punches soon turn to kisses and fighting soon turns into something more intimate. The line between love and hate blurs as they enter new territory, but luckily for them they're fast learners.
