As cliché as it sounds, Louis Tomlinson has been in this frustrating position for three years, and now he's 3 months away from kissing high school goodbye. Though high school is almost coming to an end, his feelings for a certain guy hasn't gone away since freshmen year. Other than the occasional "Hi", the two never really crossed paths often. (Sequel to A Twist of Fate) Two years have passed since Harry met Louis in New South Wales on an exchange program. Now they've both graduated from university, and Louis decides that maybe it's time to take a chance and do something about those last three parting words he had for Harry.

When Louis Tomlinson hops on a train to London, he has no idea what awaits him. He risks the uncertainty for his dream job at a radio station. But then he finds out that he's going to have to work together with Harry Styles, who's obnoxious and whom he can't even begin to understand. He has to admit though, that Harry is very pleasing to the eye, but he can't seem to get over the fact that Harry spilled coffee all over him the first time they met and barely even apologised. They take their love-hate relationship into the studios, but what happens when they realise they don't quite hate each other as much as they thought?

Louis and Harry grew up together, and were best friends even in their earliest memories. They are 12 years old when Louis has to move to Australia, and they never expect anything to be the same again. They make a pact, a promise to one another, put it in a bottle and throw it out to sea. They promise to get back in touch if any of them ever find the bottle again. A silly, childish pact that isn't so silly when you're only twelve years old. Seven years later, fate turns in their favour. Louis stumbles upon an old, green bottle and Harry just happens to be in Australia as an exchange student. They spend time together catching up, but no amount of time can make up for the seven years they spent apart. It's almost cruel when you realise the one thing most important to you has been in front of you all the while, yet you never realise.

Louis pretends to be Harry's boyfriend to help him win back his douchebag ex-boyfriend, but things don't go according to plan.
