Not everyone has the confidence to be able to interact with others. And by everyone, it was only a certain someone. Upon being a new arrival, the townspeople has never seen the new move-in's 15 year old daughter. She was far too shy to talk with others other than her parents. So how did she improvise? Letters. She had her eye on Isabela Madrigal for a while and had the eagerness to be friends with her...but not the courage. In attempts of sending letters to the fellow Madrigal, it seems the letter has been sent to the wrong person accidentally. It was sent to her little sister, Mirabel Madrigal. Though after some time, Y/N realized that the giftless Madrigal also longed for a friend. Maybe having her as an accidental penpal isn't so bad.

Mirabel saw the cracks on that fateful night Antonio got his gift but this time she kept it to herself. She knew how important that candle and its miracle was to her family but she also knew how much they depended on it. She was not about to let the candle flicker out but if it did she would be the one to protect her family. Will her family realize they have pushed away Mirabel in time it will they lose her forever? This is a shorter story and the chapters are shorter than most of my other books. I may rewatch encanto at some point and edit this story to be longer but idk. I recently saw Encanto and I fell for it. I have decided to make a story but there was an issue I didn't know what to write. So I scoured the internet finding inspiration and ultimately I have made an Au for them to react to. It is basically taking the concept of Bruno being Mirabel and Camilo's father, see the twist here is that they're assassins. Bruno's part of the family are all assassins and Mirabel has a gift.
