Harry Potter has suffered at the hands of his family for his whole life. When the wards finally drop as Harry is knocked unconscious, Lucius Malfoy decides to save Harry and takes him back to Malfoy Manor to recuperate. This is what ensues. Eventual Drarry. Harry is abandoned by everyone at Hogwarts during the Triwizard Tournament and thrown out of the Gryffindor tower. He must face the first task by himself and possibly without any help from the professors. Harry starts thinking about his life and the decisions he made and is ashamed of himself and sad about the way his life has turned out. He wants to make it right and is willing to work hard for success, asking and receiving help from his father's friends and enemy.

It started with the spin of a bottle, and now Harry and Draco have gotten themselves so far into their own game there's almost no way out again. Except to keep playing. Drarry fic! Explicit sexual situations depicted.

It's Harry Potters fifth year and he's depressed. He has to deal with Voldemort's return, being plagued with nightmares about his friend Cedric's murder and being abused at home. That's right. The saviour of the wizarding world is beaten mercilessly by his Uncle and Cousin. His aunt starves him and verbally abuses him. Eventually he couldn't take it and started cutting, taking drugs, getting mindlessly drunk and street fighting illegally with his muggle friends. (They obviously don't know about magic but do know about his home life). This is set from the summer before fifth year onwards. Let's see if his friends can save him before he's too far gone.

After meeting Draco in Diagon Alley, Harry reserves his judgments, desperate to make friends. And when the Hat places him in Slytherin, Harry must find a way to get along with his new Housemates and Head of House. Severus Snape, though initially vindictive, comes to find that his preconceptions may have been wrong... and those preconceived notions are shattered when Snape is the one to take Harry in the summer before his third year.
