Soul Evans is a pianist searching for a steady job with like-minded people. Soul is among the first to find out when Crimson Heart's keyboardist quits. He lands an impromptu audition backstage and is announced as the newest member of the band a couple weeks later. Kid has a hard time adapting at first, and ends up acting bipolar around the new member; sometimes being his usual smart and sassy self, and other times a shy, quiet, and dumbfounded boy...
