16 year old Dakota has been abused physically, emotionally, and sexually by her parents her whole life up until one very lucky night. With her mom dead, her dad on the run, and her best friend by her side she must figure out how to survive living with her aunt and uncle in their rich town of bbqs and pool parties. With her lack of emotion and voice will she be able to measure up to her knew families expectations? It may just be a love story worth reading. I speak if spoken to, i'm quiet unless told to be loud, I show no vulnerability, no emotions, no need for love. These are all the things my dad taught me while he raped me over and over again, while my mom just sat their and most the time held me down while shoving something sharp or hot against my flesh. This was my life, I was abused and forgotten. A million kids in the world are just like me, forgotten angels. Speak up for us all and get help immediately. No child deserves to be pushed around.
