I think this is an understandable reaction. When we are cheated on our world gets turned upside down. We realise the life we thought we were living was a lie and the person who we thought had our back and loved us didn't think about us when the chance to cheat presented itself. Actions speak louder than words." He not only told that to me but he used to tell our friends how much he loved me. He is 100% a narcissist .
