A self-indulgent story about a selkie who runs from the sea and falls in love with a human girl. Somewhat slow burn, but I'm also impatient so we'll see. Set somewhere in Scotland, although the time period isn't explicitly clear. I love Scottish faerie lore, and tried to utilize it with my own twists. This was inspired by a tumblr post (that I can't find now) which essentially conceptualized a selkie dropping her coat at a party, only for a human to pick it up for them, thereby mating the two for life. louis and harry are both juniors in high school. louis is in love with harry, but he's in deniall and has a girlfriend. harry just wants louis to stop talking to him
