It's early summer, and in a small community on the central Jersey Shore, a black car screeches to a halt outside the Wright Bros grocery. Danny looks up from where he's working at the carwash to see the driver rifle out of the car and chase a girl rushing into the store. For some reason-fate perhaps or intuition-he decides to cross the lot and investigate. When he meets Mary, there is a great deal Danny doesn't know, but he certainly knows that he's been struck. For it's like the keys to an old car had been dropped into his hands and is about to start the engine that will forever alter the outcome of their lives. Some Place Better Than Here is a gritty, unflinching look at how we define family and come to grips with loss. It's about growing up in a small town, following your dreams, and mapping out the uneven ground that often lays between love, friendship, and sexual awakening.

Was published, but is now off the market--I'm sorry! Brianne is the opposite of her best friend, Kyla. Kyla is open-minded; Brianne is closed off, judgmental. Kyla is a hopeless romantic. Brianne? Not so much. So when Kyla shoves an apple into her face telling her to throw it across the cafeteria so she can find her future love, Brianne is anything but interested. And yet she throws the apple anyway. Who does the apple hit? Dannon Barone, the most popular boy in school. Though he's seemingly sweet and all-smiles, Brianne dislikes him. She thinks he's a fake, a fraud, someone who is just charming the crowds in order to gain popularity. But Brianne is about to learn that stereotypes are not true, and that she's been too quick to judge those around her. Brianne Nichols' life is about to change forever. And what does she have to thank for it? A bruised piece of fruit. Who would have known that a stupid apple could be right? | technically not part of the summary | Okay, so I know the prenote says to find any errors you can. Just letting you know there's no point to that anymore because I've reedited it two more times after this one (extensively so), and already sent it in to be self-published. The only reason that the prenote is still up is because a fan made an amusing slideshow and if I edit anything then the tags for the wattys will be gone and I'll no longer be entered , hahah!

"You don't seem like a nerd so what are you?" He asked raising an eyebrow as he eyed my black rimmed glasses, thick woollen jersey and ratted converses. I crossed my arms and did the same to him. "You don't seem like a bad boy that actually turns out to be gay but we are all mistaken sometimes." I replied watching as he stepped closer making my back press against the wall. "Your only a little mistaken, I am the schools bad boy but i most definitely am not gay," he whispered in my ear causing me to shiver. "What are you?" he continued slowly. I leaned up so that my lips were brushing against his cheek, smirking as I watched him gulp. "Well none of yours is right because I'm definitely not a nerd, I'm just a girl in disguise." With that I side stepped his arms and skipped down the hallway, only pausing when i reached the class room door. I looked over my shoulder sending him a wink when i noticed that he was still watching me. Things just got a whole lot better. _________________________________________________________________________________________ Lexi Dylan's is the badass the whole world knows but when she's forced to move, she decides to get revenge. "Karma..." He muttered. I looked over at him as he smiled to himself. "Is a bitch. And so are you!" I joked. Aiden glanced up at me and glared before he smashed a spoonful of ice cream onto my face, rubbing cheek to cheek, down to my chin then up to my forehead. I just sat there, paralyzed. "Try calling me that again." He joked back, leaning forward so our faces were a few inches apart. I huffed, grabbed a napkin to wipe my face off. Only to fake him out so it seemed I wasn't going to strike. But when he wasn't paying attention, I flung a spoonful of ice cream onto his face. It hit him on the nose and eye. I broke out laughing, moaning lightly as my ribs protested in pain. But it was too funny. Aiden took the ice cream in his mouth when it slid down to his lips. "Hmmm. Cookie dough." His eyes gleamed with lust and humor. "You look handsome with ice cream on your face!" I giggled, reaching over to clean it. He stayed still, obviously liking my actions as he purred again. Summer had a dream: To major in photography and travel around the world with her sister. Problem? She has an abusive father that won't give her up for the live of him. And when she meets Aiden, the leader of a pack sworn to kill rouges(which Summer and her family are) and becomes his mate, the trouble doubles. In love, what will Summer do? Stay tuned.

{Sequel to My Alpha Mate} Once every 10,000 years a single vampire/wolf hybrid child will be born a half demon wolf. When the chosen child comes of age, she will transform into a true Demon wolf. Once fully transformed the Moon Goddess will choose if she will be for the light or dark. Almost every Demon wolf has been chosen for the light, but forces like Rouges, evil witches and Vampires can interfere and change this. This has only happened once. The last Demon wolf was chosen for the dark, which meant that rouges and other evil creatures were free to roam the Earth, killing and attacking humans, Werewolf's and other supernatural species. The high elders called it the Dark Days. North knew she was a Demon wolf, due to her early shifting and her short temper, red eyes, long fangs, etc. Although, she never knew what it meant to be one though. It's only 7 months till North's Birthday and things starting to happen, not all good things, to be exact.

(Before you read this, as my own experience while writing this story, don't let the cliche title fool you. Embrace yourself for a ride with "The Bet") Let's start off like this; I'm not the regular seventeen year old daughter who gets all the boys and drags on seven pounds of make up on her face daily and no, no, I'm not that girl from movies who starts off ugly and then ends out beautiful. I know I'm not ugly, but I wouldn't preferably call myself 'beautiful.' My life is like a Cinderella story except in my case, I have a half brother and a step brother who I adore to death. Either way, I still haven't found my prince charming, yet. I'm Christine Marie Osborne and as you may know, I'm not quite the popular gal. I'm a Junior in high school and I'm also a GIRL. Therefore stands the unbearable fact of me having an enemy. Which I do, her name is Julie Cambridge. She's the hoe you see on a daily basis, the one who will convert your life into a living hell just because of something so stupid you and your best friend Adriana did to her A YEAR AGO. Now she's seeking revenge.. but with what, with who? Things get utterly out of hand as the Bad boy named Lucas Braxton moves into town. I know what you guys are thinking, I should be in love with him because he's the sex god. But, nope you're wrong.. I start off rather despising him and thankfully for me.. he hates me too. Everything is quite normal as it always is but it all comes tumbling down when Lucas comes out of nowhere and flirts with me. Is this a sick joke? nope I'm THE BET. But what is the bet? to get the geeky girl? no.. the bet is the most uncomfortable thing you could ever hear.. and the worst part of it all is that I was the bet.. and I didn't realize it until that day.. WARNING: There's a ton of cursing and SO MUCH DRAMA. But its funny in a lot of points of views. So just enjoy the book.
