"Do you know, Guruma told me how much she likes me being there." Thirteen year old Meenakshi spoke about her new life. "She is absolutely right. Having you around is like having our blessings around." Chitrama said, as she slowly massaged her bruised arms. "Who would not like you?" She asked, her question rhetorical. "My parents." Meenakshi whispered, making Chitrama look at her. She smiled softly at her, as she saw the little girl becoming a woman. "Does you feet not hurt you?" She asked diverting her attention. They were bruised from walking on the rocks and climbing trees. "No ma. I am used to the pain." Meenakshi said, making Chitrama's heart weep. "One day, you shall be cherished dear, so much that all this pain will be worth it." She said, caressing her soles, before she bandaged them. "I don't have any such expectations ma. And I don't wish to." She said, before she walked to the bathing area.

Amanda Banner has worked her way into her dream job of running a Victorian house museum. Left alone in the sprawling manor, Amanda finds that not everything is as it appears. Apparitions roam the halls, items move when they're not supposed to, and suddenly a mirror begins to shimmer. As Amanda approaches the strange mirror she is catapulted into 1880 and directly into the arms of Matthew Robertson, one of the first residents to live in the mansion. Tensions run high as Amanda tries to navigate Victorian social etiquettes, attempts to find a way home, and battles the emotional fury that erupts every time she and Matthew draw near each other. Will Amanda make it back to her own time, or will she be forced to learn to live in a time long since past? _________________________ Trigger warning for sexual acts and coarse language. "A King is not complete without his Queen." This is a story. A story that is far too unreal for anyone believe. A story that everyone should believe in. A story about love and death. A story so powerful that even the greatest and scariest leaders will kneel for it. A story about a woman and a man. A story of how a tiny mere human girl who made the werewolf King kneel in front of her because she shed a tear. This is not the fairytale that you thought you knew COMPLETED

This is, to my best knowledge, is the original work of Charlotte Brontë. I do not own any parts of this book. The credits entirely belong to the original creator of this story. My intention is only to share this amazing book with fellow readers on wattpad. For more free ebooks, go to gutenberg.org SUMMARY: The Professor was Charlotte Brontë's first novel, written before Jane Eyre but rejected by publishers until after her death. The book tells the story of a young man named William Crimsworth, from his formative years to his appointment as a teacher at an all-girls school.
