After Katara gets her heart shattered she goes looking for a distraction and she successfully gets the distraction she was searching for. However, she got a slight problem developing.

Set 4 years after the war. Katara and Aang are deeply in love, and they couldn't be happier. But when Azula escapes her prison and the gaang is reunited at the Fire Nation, things will begin to change for the worse. Includes Kataang, Tokka, Zutara, Maiko.

This is a Modern ATLA Au! (I changed their ages up just a bit) This also takes place in highschool. Aang is new to town, a 14 year old freshman. Katara is also 14, one year younger than her Sophmore brother, Sokka. They also encounter a blind girl named Toph, also 14. And lastly Zuko, 16. Another warning this fanfic may include language and themes unsettling for some viewers. There will be labled trigger warnings in cases such as that. Aang and katara their story doesn't end after the hundred year war. Trust, courage, love will be tested. Old friendships will grow closer, new ones will be formed. From the end of the hundred year war to Aangs death, this will be an amazing and emotional journey for Team Avatar.

edit: i wrote this when I was 10 or smth so it's extremely cringey 5 years after the war ended the Avatar team are living a normal life. Katara thinks her love for Aang is one sided, but their story is just beginning. This story is mainly about Katara and Aang but he others (Sokka, Suki, Zuko, Toph, Ty lee, Mai and Azula) play a part in it. (There is no Zutara in this story) Hope you enjoy.
