After Arthur's death, merlin has to wait for his reincarnation because the destiny was unfulfilled. He is immortal until Arthur comes again. Out of the ruins of Camelot, he built a school he called hogwarts along with his cofounders: Ravenclaw, Slytherin, Hufflepuff, and Gryffindor. He built what he remembered of Camelot into the school, such as Gius' place and Arthur's room. Merlin also built extra rooms like the room of requirement and built his own home in there. It all started after Camelot fell after Queen Gwens' reign and after Merlin left. Old religion was remembered as old magic and over time only Merlin used it, and it was also known as wandless magic. What the wizards and witches used today is known to Merlin as new magic. The druids died out after Camelot fell, and so only Merlin was left. It was after Voldemort was defeated by Harry and Dumbledore was killed. Professor McGonagall took over as headmaster and taught that she decided to search for a new headmaster that merlin was found by the most unlikely of people.

Sequel to Scars Arthur banishes Merlin from Camelot instead of executing him for being a sorcerer. Will Arthur bring Merlin back along with Gwaine and Percival, or will something arise bringing them back on their own?

The Druid advises the king to seek out the man, for Arthur's destiny cannot begin without him, for he is Morgana's doom. Merlin is a young warlock living in the small farming village of Ealdor. His life is quiet. He spends his days toiling away at the fields with his best friend Will while honing his magical talents with the help of his mentor, Gaius, the physician from Camelot who visits on occasion. When he meets Arthur Pendragon, he can't help but hate the prat. Of course, until he gets to know him better. Meanwhile, Morgana scours the kingdom for the sorcerer Emrys. Desperate to find him before he finds her. When her search leads her towards Ealdor, she's surprised to find Arthur there, and with a scrawny peasant boy no less. As their paths cross in the usually uneventful village, it becomes a race between the son and daughter of Uther Pendragon to either save or destroy Emrys.
