My version of the second captain America movie. Characters. Commander Gracie Dalma Captian Steve Rogers Sergant James Buchanan Barnes (eventually) Commander Gracie Royal Dalma joined the ranks at the age of 22 years old. Excited not only to serve her country but to fight along her best friends Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes. She assisted in Buckys rescue, witnessed his death and fell in love with Steve. Tragic. Sleep by ice is her curse. Awaking after Steve Rogers. She finds him again and he slowly falls in love with the woman that has always loved him.

Elizabeth Maeve Barnes is the younger sister of James Buchanan Barnes, better known as Bucky to his 17-year-old sister and best friend, Steve Rogers. For her, she has aspired to be a soldier like the two young men but being a girl in the 1940s who was only seen fit to live at home and make a man happy, her dream seemed ludicrous. But, that changed after her long-time crush became Captain America and her brother died. She was recruited to stop Hitler with Steve before he disappeared into the ice. She didn't know what to do after until Peggy Carter told her she could take a replica super-soldier serum but with the price of being preserved in ice overtime and only allowed out to complete missions for S.H.E.I.L.D. Or so, that's what she thought. Fast forward to 66 years later and she is let out for the thirteenth time to ease the found alive Steve. Their old feelings for each other begin to rekindle as they face the many enemies of the world with The Avengers and discover something they thought they lost a long time ago. Stephanie Rose Barns is Bucky's younger sister. Back in the 1940s Bucky had to go to war and she was left with Steve Rogers. Steve Rogers is like another brother to her and she needs him more than anything. When he becomes Captain America and fights in the war Stephanie knows about the harsh dangers. When Steve brings a familiar face back to camp it surprises Stephanie. Bucky. Later when Bucky falls off the train Stephanie is once again left with Steve. When Steve crashes into the ice and goes under Stephanie volunteers for the next super solider program in Steve's honor. Soon she finds herself in a cold darkness. Then she wakes up 70 years later.

"You're very different, Rogers." I said in awe. "Why? Because of my poor health?" He asked. I shook my head, smiling slightly. "You have something these soldiers don't have," I pointed to his chest, "heart." Rogers gazed up into my eyes as I looked into his. I gave him a warm smile, which causes him to smile back, making his blue eyes sparkle at my grey eyes. It wasn't normal to see a girl in the military. As far as I knew the only girl, excuse me woman, was Peggy Carter. It had always been my dream to join the army and I did it. Finally. I ended up in the same unit as Steve Rogers and James Buchanan Barnes. Being a soldier wasn't exactly what I expected tho... I decided to write this story because I've always wanted to join the army myself, but I can't and I love Captain America. The story is based on Captain America: the first Avenger, but I changed it up a bit. I hope you enjoy the story and feedback is appreciated!
