Izuku was a strange child, when he was a kid he found out he had a quirk but the doctors had no idea what it was or how it worked. Because of this he tried everything he could think of to try make his mom's or dad's quirks work but absolutely nothing did. As he was slowly pushed away by everyone except for his mother, he had no one, no friends or anything, because of this he gained the hobby of drawing to help him cope with the loneliness. Years passed by and he finally accepted that he was quirkless and because of that everyone all but increased in the bullying making Izuku even more isolated. But then one day something changed when after he was bullied and he was at home drawing, his quirk finally showed itself. @JaydenFleisher writes the description for each chapter and I write the story itself

After Izuku was diagnosed quirkless his life turned into a living hell, he was bullied everywhere except for home where his mom would always try and cheer him up. One day after Izuku turned 9 he was beaten up by some of the older kids in his school till the point he ended up in the hospital. After that Inko talked to her husband and they both agreed that they should move somewhere else and find a better school for Izuku. Both Inko and Shota found a school near UA where Shota was planning to start working at, the school was a very nice one and both of them hoped that Izuku would have a better life here. So they moved to the new area and Izuku entered the new school where he met his two soon to be best friends. Ryuko Tatsume and Rumi Usagiyama. Izuku got sick and tired of being bullied by his "sister" and her friends, as well as being abused and neglected by his parents, and ignored by most of his aunts and uncles, except for Nezu because he was there for him. They do this all because of something that was beyond his control. One day when the bullies got done hurting him, his real friends, took him to the Yaoyorozu estate and healed him up. While he was recovering, he met the God Brothers and they gave him the power of creation and destruction and trained him in these powers. With these powers, Izuku is set to destroy all corruption throughout the world.

There Mercer told him he was Izuku's past self and he is willing to merge their souls to give the Blacklight Virus to our protagonist and letting it mutate into a quirk.
