Alexis realises that she is no longer able to cope with living in the house that holds the memories that haunt her, so she moves to a whole other state, with her mother. Starting fresh—living in a new home, attending a new school, making new friends—feels amazing. Putting some distance between her experiences and herself is so relieving. Unfortunately, life is never perfect or fair. But there are definitely some moments that are positively unforgettable. Despite the fact that Alexis ends up reliving her past, she meets life changing people who understand how she feels. Warning: Involves social and psychological issues (eg. depression, social anxiety, self harm, suicide, bullying, eating disorders). In no way was this story intended on offending anyone. It was written in an attempt to address these issues. May be a trigger to those with such problems. This story also contains swearing and some sexual content.
