Helmut Zemo killed the five Super Soldiers in their capsules that day. A bullet in each of their heads. Swift, clean, painless. He didn't know that the opening of HYDRA's tomb triggered the awakening of one last Winter Soldier, ready to unleash decades of anger out on the world.

Cara Nielsen's entire working career has revolved around sorting out the problems of the Avengers and other miscellaneous S.H.I.E.L.D. members that surround them which is a pretty interesting task. From Iron Man to Thor, she's had the whole lot in her office on at least one occasion (many more with the likes of Stark and Banner), consulting her for advice or asking for help with dealing with what they do. Her agenda changes drastically however, when a new patient is brought to the building and placed permanently on her books while the others are reassigned to a new therapist just out of college. All she knows is that she'll see him every day to conduct rigourous psychoanalysis on what Hydra has done to his brain. HYDRA has already locked away one secret - the infamous assassin, the Winter Soldier. But what about it's other secret? An underwater base, stationed in the middle of the most feared area of the ocean, the Bermuda Triangle. There, HYDRA conceals its most volatile weapon, one hidden away completely from the world, and trained for the sole purpose of missions that not even the Winter Soldier himself can handle. Meanwhile, the Soldier doesn't even know the base exists, let alone a weapon even more powerful than the one he was made to be. Soon enough, though, he will find out. He will discover the base, and he will discover a human who is in much worse condition than he ever was. He will discover the Bermuda Project.
