Later, seeing Kanao getting together with Tanjiro and Nezuko falling in love with Zenitsu; sometimes Inosuke wonders if a strong man like him doesn't need a woman. He is wrong. Tanjirou has recovered from the battle and is soon sent back out into the battle field for a mission along side Kanao where the two encounter a nightmarish opponent. Eventually the two demon slayer's goals shift from killing to surviving. All the while, Shinobu and Giyuu struggle to find their students and bring them home safely.
