Sabre gets sent a mysterious minecraft seed through his email and decides to try it out. This goes south by the first night however, and he finds himself in a world lacking of its prior humanity. Is there any chance this world's residents still hold any rapport? And how did it become so utterly disheveled? - RainbowQuest is an original story by FavremySabre. I always felt Rainbow Quest had a lot more potential, and I still love it for what it was. The only real medium I've been ever able to be motivated enough to write, is fan-fiction, and with this I wanted to sort of rewrite RQ with more stuff happening basically. How simple the Nightmare King's arc was, how Void felt so one dimensional until Steve Legends, but even then Seer dies and it's simply just Void. I honestly felt there could've been more. Anyhow, I recently watched Home Sweet Home, a KZombie series that was honestly pretty much a banger. The first season anyhow, I'm to sensitive to watch the second after my favorite character died. But basically if you haven't watched it, the main premise is that the zombie virus begins with nose bleeds, and people are then taunted(mentally by the illness) with their greatest, most selfish desire, and then once they give in the become a monster version of whatever that desire is. This inspired me to make the darkness more like a sickness, that is later integrated into the Steves for the sake of survival. I hope you enjoy these concepts too! Surrounded by fear and enemies, Sabre's instincts kick in, revealing a little-known adaptation of the player species- the ability to literally change their skin, as well as their biology. With his life and newfound abilities quickly spinning out of control, Sabre has to rely on his friends to guide him through these changes before the evil lurking just beneath the surface threatens to take them away forever.
