But it doesn't end there, now she has to train even harder to prove she deserves the title. With the help of the Winter Soldier, there's no doubt she'll succeed. But when her compromising feelings start to grow, she may jeopardize everything she's worked her entire life for. However it may just be worth for a chance to feel human for once.

Natalia Romanova has jumped from place to place, all her life, and through all of this, she has learned not to get attached, because you end up losing the one you love. This is best shown through James Buchanan Barnes, her love in the Red Room. When they get ripped apart, she is heartbroken, and when they find each other again, she promises not to get too close this time. Will she be able to keep this vow, and just stay friends, or will they fall in love again?

James Buchanan Barnes is just a name. The man a broken memory. Natalia Alianova Romanova. A name associated with a life best forgotten. Slowly two broken people will piece together their past, to shape who they want to be. Broken Memories is a Pre-Civil War fanfiction.
