this is a rewrite of an old story of mine. it has the same title, and I decided I wanted a more detailed story line. my original was rushed, undetailed, and flawed.(Not saying this wont be oops) this is klance, but no smutt, this is a work safe story folks, but gore warning? *Just to clear up the confusion, lotor is not half altean in this au* lance is an altean, and keith is galra, altean, and human. his mother is galra and altean, while his father was human. lance is a special type of altean, almost artificial. he has the rarest power since it is completely unique. he was water, and lightning powers. alteans normally only have water, ice, OR earth powers due to their peaceful tendencies. (No fire or lightning etc.) But, they are apparent on EXTREMLY rare occasuons.He got them from allura, who used her power to save him from a deadly disease when he wasnt even born yet. He was born with white hair, and altean markings. *warning*...a little gory?? some sensitive topics Plus, the cover art is not mine, I looked it up on google and couldn't find the credit. Lance's arms were around him quick, pulling him close and lifting him up. Keith saw Lance spin him around but he couldn't feel it. He was numb. He felt like he was watching it happen from someone else's point of view. He saw how deep Lance's eyes were and how wide his smile was. Keith ran his hands through Lance's hair, trying to capture this moment forever. He couldn't stop the laugh that bubbled out of him. He was so happy, and felt so warm and numb. The moment was surreal, just him and Lance. ... Keith and Lance have been "friends" since high school, but everyone sees them more as rivals. Lance family is very religious and do not support the lgbt community. Keith's family wants what's best for him and don't want him in any relationship or have friendship with anyone.
