Merfolk were the very foundation of Shota Aizawa's childhood. Sitting on the end of his bed, his dad would spin tales of finned creatures who convened with dolphins and wrestled sharks. Shimmering scales and magic that surpassed what was thought to be possible with quirks alone. Stories of seashell hoards and kingdoms built of colorful coral and carefully polished stone. It was one of the few things Shota could look back on and smile. The mere mention of them brought a light feeling to his chest and a shine to his eyes. Midoriya Izuku doesn't know why it happens, it just does. Ever since he was a kid, he'd be pulled into another dimension where there's no quirks. After his secret's been discovered by Hinata Shouyou, the two have become close friends, with a passion for the same sport: volleyball. Now that Midoriya's at the dorms, it gets harder and harder to slip away. And if he doesn't, he might be pulled into the dimension during class. Being a hero is tough enough, but also being a volleyball player at Karasuno High at the same time makes it even tougher. I do not own Mha or Haikyuu!!.
