CLOY came into my life around this time last year. I was unable to accept the ending, and thus this fic was born. This story is my take on episode 16 and my version of cloy season 2. Disclaimer: The CLOY Characters are not mine. I'm just playing in someone's sandbox.

With this Binjin drought I just wanted to give us all (especially me) something to get us through this time, while Binjin is hopefully enjoying their private time together (which they deserve so much). Childhood. Everyone has a different childhood story growing up. Fond stories, memories, photographs. These were at times embarrassing but mostly heartwarming when one looks back on it. Ye Jin and Hyun Bin's childhood revolved around each other. With their parents being high school best friends, playdates were common growing up. As their relationship continues to develop, the childhood sweethearts may just find themselves wishing to be more than friends. Will our "close friends" take the next step? What happens if they have to go their separate ways? Will their friendship survive? Will their love survive?

A trough is the opposite of a crest, so the minimum or lowest point in a cycle. A point on the wave is a trough if the displacement of the medium. Son Ye Jin & Hyu Bin were at the crest of the waves; the height of their careers while holding each other's hand. They were having the time of their lives; they were in love with their life, their careers and--with each other. But a little too much of everything can be destructive too. A wave, after all, is a cycle. It hits the crest but after that, it meets the trough. They hit the rock bottom, together. Until it was too painful to still hold on. Years past and their lives changed. Will the waves finally reach the shore? Will they make it back to the crest together? Will they ever make it through?
