Belleville's a usually quiet town, so quiet it's almost sketchy. Frank Iero has lived his eighteen years in the quiet and sketchy town of Belleville with nothing but stories to tell. Some of them so outrageous that they must be lies, right? Like the time Brendon Urie ignored Frank and Pete for six months to talk to Ryan Ross, right? Like the time when Pete Wentz was so hurt by the fact Brendon and Frank hung out without him that he made his way to Brendon's house, climbed a tree, fell off said tree and almost broke his arm, right? Or the time when Frank and Pete both accidentally unleashed a demon in the Iero household that created catastrophic consequences for all involved, right? Ah, nothing like a good old outrageous story. He thought that when he turned Eighteen he'd be able to run off into the sunset, but as his birthday approaches he's beginning to realise that one more year changes nothing. He's still been disowned by any family he's ever know, he's still keeping secrets from his friends that are big enough to destroy their friendships, and he's still involved with his local priest. Add into the mix a gang of thugs, graffiti and an inappropriate collar fixation, and welcome to the life of one particularly screwed up teenager.

Frank Iero was given two options by his parents: go to juvie or move to England to live with his heavily-catholic relatives. He chose the second, seeing it as a challenge as to how long his aunt and uncle would be able to put up with his troublemaking ass. Maybe he would've chosen Juvie if he realised just what was waiting for him over the Atlantic ocean, in the form of a hot priest who seemed to be so far in the closet he could've been in Narnia. Frank had always loved to cause a shitstorm, but this was on a whole new level. After a failed suicide attempt, Frank Iero is placed into an induced coma to prevent any further self harm. While he's asleep, he's visited by what he believes is an angel who sings to him. The unholy union of a high school AU and a ghost story. Gerard's life takes a strange turn when his family moves to a small town in Vermont and he discovers the locals aren't all what they seem to be. Also includes: unexpected nature walks, murder, pining, improper treatment of crime scenes, a number of bone-related puns, high school bullies, and a short-range shrub named Ferdinand. First: some extra warnings - This contains violence, homophobia, character death (but the character's still there--there's a fair amount of delving into the subject of death and dying, though, so be aware of that.) There's also some bizarre supernatural sex, but no necrophilia. Just putting that out there now, in case anyone was worried. NO NECROPHILIA.
