Succeed, and he earns a random reward - a weapon, a skill, a power, even knowledge from that world. Fail, and he suffers a punishment that carries over into real life. He never asked for this power, but the quests aren't stopping - and the punishments are getting harsher. If he wants to survive long enough to live a normal day at U.A.
