A couple of months later after failing the task, Sakura and her friends are returning the favor to save Gaara's student, Matsuri.

Team 7 work together as priority one instead of seeing the others as a burden. Kakashi Hatake keeps on training after the deaths of his teammates instead of feeling guilty. The village see team 7 as a weapon, their friends wonder if they ever really knew them and team 7 sees themselves as their own small clan.
