Karl Jacobs is an innocent man who's grown up in the overworld, banned from going through the "portal to hell" as his parents called it. He never knew why it was so terrible, he'd only ever heard exaggerated stories from his parents. He longed to see someone or something from there, but his hope deteriorated over time. Sapnap is a demon in hiding. He was born in the underworld, known to him as the Nether. When he was eight he was saved by a wandering boy who found him interesting. He went by the name of Dream. Sapnap is a psychology student who has been allowed to work into a mental hospital for a few months so to gather the informations he needs to write his final thesis. The building is very large, with dozens of patients with different mental illnesses and peculiar behavior for him to study. Several are here by their own choice, wishing to get better and re-enter society, but some... are forced to stay, for they are a danger to others and themselves. Unfortunately, a young boy by the name of Karl, belongs to the latter group.
