But years after I first wrote it, I made a realization... Alex Mercer would've never acted like how my version of Alex Mercer had been in that fanfiction. Alex Mercer, to put it simply, is a calm and calculated type of person, he is the literal amalgamation of death. He is untrusting and unpredictable. And that's what made him so dangerous.
