There is a point in life where the world seems to stop, everything around you seems to stand still. And you seem to become aware of every single miniscule imperfection, regret. Rose's life is turned upside down at 14 when she is told she has a brain tumour and the doctors are unable to operate. It just seems to get worse when she is diagnosed with depression at 15. No family expect her aunt and uncle, no friends due to fear of more pain not only for her but for them. It is hard to get on with a life that will ultimately end in sadness, pain and grief. That was until she met Toby. Toby enters University focussing on getting his degree in Biochemistry whilst also trying to provide for not only himself but his little brother too. Having his parents leave him with his 3-year-old brother and never coming back turned his world on its head. Working, going to school, providing for a 4-year-old at 18 with no one else to rely on. Terrified of making friends due to fear of judgement, pain and humiliation. That is until he meets Rose Journey through a story of denial, pain, grief, regret and heartbreak.
