Grian goes missing and Xisuma has a guess on who could have caused it. Scar escaped them. He broke free from their curse in season six. But the freedom is short lived, as Scar's burden returns. One day, Mumbo wakes up to a tent pitched in his front yard. He assumes it's one of the hermits pulling a prank on him. But when he discovers that it is actually a little lemon boy living in the tent, his life is turned upside-down. This AU is based off of the song "Lemon Boy" by Cavetown.

Something strange begins to happen to Grian, and he leaves the Island for information. But of course, his fellow Hermits have to come rescue him. He spends some time recovering and thinks it's all in the past. But after accidentally poisoning Mumbo, Grian discoveres the story isn't quite over yet.
