In the beginning, L/n was unable to figure out how to control these powers and caused mass damage to anyone who came near. After S.H.E.I.L.D came across L/n and her abilities, they began a slow process of helping her contain and control her powers, and through this process, L/n learnt how to feel her emotions on command. As she controls her emotions they combine to create her main power, healing. The only problem S.H.E.I.L.D has yet to figure out is that as L/n heals others she has to feel small amounts of their pain, but does not cause any physical damage to herself. When Bucky leaves to fight, Y/N and Howard work on an import mission, however, Y/N later disappears. Howard is certain that Hydra has taken her but no matter how hard he tries he is unable to locate her. That is until about 73 years later she is found but is not the same Y/N Bucky and Steve once knew. Okayyy so the timeline on the story is going to be a little distorted because Civil War happens during 2016 but for fluidity, there are some things I'm going to have to change.
