This story is set in Belfast Northern Ireland in the 1980's Fed up moping, after her break up with her two timing boyfriend Johnny, 18 year old Kelly Caruthers agrees to go along to a night out with her brothers girlfriend Chrissie to a disco at a local army Barrack. Here she meets Danny Phillips a young soldier serving his time there, when she accidently knocks his drink over him, she finds herself getting noticed by him, when he insist he repays her back by promising a she would have a dance with him. Kelly isnt out looking for romance, after her recent failed relationship, but Danny still has a way of winning her around with his cheeky charm,
