My blade was at his throat in an instant. "Your first mistake? Killing her. Your last? Letting me in." It is 1867, and the streets of London ooze danger and lust. One wrong step can be your last, and nobody knows it better than November. Demons stalk the streets, seducing and killing as though it was going out of fashion. Although she wears a corset, November's determined to find every monster who's ever spilt a drop of innocent blood and end them before they can take another step. But something is coming, and November alone might not be enough to stop the blood bath...

"I must have hit my head a lot harder than I had anticipated, or maybe breathe too much smoke because this is definitely nut-case crazy. Or a very creepy dream that feels way too real for my own good. I can pat my subconscious on the back for that one, but at the same time, it might be a little over the top." When Melody set fire to a museum she didn't expect to hit her head on the pavement and wake up in a nightmare. But she does. And this nightmare is not a nightmare apparently--it's a curse.
