The pain has always been there since I can remember. From the first time I got picked on by the people I love till now when sometimes I feel like I'm not enough, the pain doesn't feel less and so there has always been a struggle just to be enough, not just for myself but for everyone else-to live up to their expectations. And with the urge to live up to everyone 's expectations came the pain. I struggled deep to come out of that boat but while I was still in that boat, I tried to find an escape. Music, writing and smiling was my escapism. These poems were written most time during my darkest times and I'm out of that boat now.
