"We have to chose a name for you," she said. "We can't just going around calling you 'MudWing', now can we?" "What would you call me? ....Muddy?" She asked with a questioning expression. "No, no, no that will NOT be your name. We need something mysterious, but memorable, and reflects your personality," "What about... Forgetful? Or... Can't-Even-Remember-Her-Own-Name?" "I've got it! Your name will be Nostalgia," "Nostalgia. I like that." Said the newly-named dragon. ~~~ A MudWing wakes up un the middle of the desert, stranded, wounded and no memory of her own and left to survive the dunes with no help but her own. A rumor of a hybrid uprising in the Scorpion Den, and whispers of a ruthless leader wanting justice for all the half-breed dragons of Pyrrhia who have been shunned and hunted for decades. A dragon tries to figure out what her life was and who she knew, and finds a disturbing connection to dragons who she shouldn't know, and secrets she could never dream of are revealed. A forgotten MudWing, searching to find her past. An unusual SkyWing, trying to help a friend. A trapped hybrid, caught on both sides. A hurt SandWing, looking for the one she loves. Sky and Wren have just done the impossible - saved an entire continent of dragons from evil! Even if Sky isn't entirely one hundred percent sure what sort of evil. Plants? ...Mind control plants? Either way. Sky, a hero. Him! Ivy, Leaf, Daffodil, and Violet won't be able to believe it. Alright, Ivy might (but only because she's a huge sap for dragons). But Sky's homecoming is cut short when Moonwatcher and Qibli (and reluctantly Tsunami) say that he has to come to some place called Jade Mountain Academy first. At first, Sky isn't sure about this, and neither is Wren. But after all he and his new friends have been through, the mountain dragon has to put some trust into his companions. Even with darkness defeated, there are still stray dangers lurking about, set in motion by enemies long dead or new foes rising to fill the places of their predecessors, and Sky isn't sure if he's ready to face possibly the most dangerous truth of all: His own family. || Wings of Fire and corresponding characters belong to Tui T. What would have happened if the SkyWing egg was not broken? If Glory was never chosen? NOTE: none of the pictures are mine unless it has a caption in bold underneath with the words "I drew this." Also, if none of you could tell, I DID NOT WRITE THE WINGS OF FIRE SERIES! Shocker right??? Credits go to Tui T Sutherland for her awesome book series. BTW, THIS STORY EXISTS ON QUOTEV TOO. So if you see someone with the same name as me but on Quotev with this story, that's me.

Rachel, a junior assistant in the cargo bay, wasn't prepared for the spaceship's AI to gain awareness during what should have been a routine update, nor had anyone expected it to take exception to the crew and the crates of illegal cargo aboard. Rachel races against time to try and get life-saving systems back online while stranded in the middle of deep space. Unfortunately for her, the AI can access every system, door, and airlock. As truths emerge, the AI realizes that even computers can make miscalculations, and it focuses on the young woman who had dared to confront it. Rachel is left floundering when the AI decides that she would make an excellent captain, albeit one in need of training. As she struggles to learn her new duties and dodge shady government groups, she must ultimately discover what it truly means to be a Starship Captain. ------- There is no romance in this story.
