Sea of Stars is an allegorical short story, featuring enigmatic means of livelihood. The multi-perspective narrative highlights two struggling teens, Harlow and Jess, during the 1990s, with an emphasis on the importance of friendship. The purpose is to portray the value of personal authenticity, shunning prejudice and discrimination.
