This story entails just that: stories. Stories of lives. Stories of freedom.
A lone quill scrawls the stories of all the lives in the universe. This is how it always has been, and how it always should be. Until now.
Cassius Moon is alone in this world. With his mother dead, and the rest of the population shunning him, he has nothing to live for–expect for his ingenious mind. Solving problems, curing diseases, and thinking up conspiracies against the human race are just average ideas that cross his mind.
Cassius Moon is content with living a hollow and empty life, until he happens across the one thing his mother left him–a letter. It explains what she believed when she was murdered–and also why everyone thought she was insane. She tells him someone is coming for Cassius, that he must run. The Master is coming for him–a godlike figure that looms over all, scrawling their every decision and choice onto a scroll. She tells him The Master controls us all–every lion, every hummingbird, and every human being. Every human being except Cassius Moon. The Master is scared of being overpowered; Cassius Moon is out of his control, and he is sending someone for him.
Two thousand years is a long time to be ruling over humanity–it is time for a new king.
